With few exceptions, once a course payment is processed we do not provide refunds. However, if the learner has not yet accessed the content, agencies may switch attendees, change courses, or reschedule course dates. For courses that include a live component, agencies may reschedule for up to a year from the date of the originally scheduled course, depending on the availability of our live sessions.

We do not offer refunds, rescheduling or cancellation for Online Training once the learner has accessed the content.

While we make every effort to avoid changes to our program , the MTC reserves the right to withdraw or cancel any course. If for any reason we cancel a course, all course fees will be returned in full.

To request refund, rescheduling, or cancellation, or to submit a complaint, please e-mail events@mtc.gov.

These administrative policies are provided to learners in advance  in compliance with NASBA Standard No. 12, which requires clear disclosure of refund, cancellation, and complaint policies to all participants. Multistate Tax Commission also ensures adherence to NASBA recordkeeping requirements (Standard 24) by retaining program documentation for at least five years.
